Brown Memorial Library - Library of Things Lending Policy (abbreviated list)
To borrow from Brown Memorial Library‘s Library of Things, a patron must be age 18 or over and have a library card in good standing.
Items circulate for fourteen days. Items may not be renewed.
Library of Things items must be returned during the Library’s open hours to the Circulation Desk.

How to use the Library of Things Catalog to reserve an item:
1. Visit the LoT Catalog (button above to take you there) 2. Navigate to the item you'd like to check out. Items are arranged in categories, each category has multiple items listed within it. 3. Click on "Reserve this item" 4. Choose which date you'd like to pickup the item. If you have a particular day you need something for, you can reserve well in advance so you know if will be available. If you have any trouble or need help reserving something from home please contact us. Items can also be reserved or checked out in person. There is a board with all the LoT items in the library by the "New Books" shelf where you can browse what is currently available. |
